The Devil spirit in the movie, "Insidious" had a hatred for women, (And also dressed and had make-up like "Darth Sith" of the "Star Wars" series) since allegedly an evil woman's spirit had been hanging around (perhaps a doppelganger / mother figure?) the family for years.
Connects to Anthony Perkins, who played a similar character, who becomes "possessed" by the spirit of his mother and therefore kills women, in the Hitchcock movie "Psycho."
Perkins was married to socialite "Berrie" Berenson, who is said to have fallen in love with him watching him at the movie theater, at age 14, while seeing him act as Norman Bates in the movie "Psycho."
Berenson must have played a bit of the role of mother to Perkins, since Perkins was said to have been mostly interested in men, previous to having met Berrie? And who died of AIDS.
Berenson is alleged to have been killed on 9/11 and her ring found in the dust of the totally destroyed Trade Complex, afterward.
( Berenson is said to have died in a plane hijacked by followers of bin Ladin, who had only taken a few lessons in a small engine airplane, but who nevertheless flew a commercial jet, without the benefit of ground control connection nor even training in flying by instrumention, perfectly on a first try, into the South Tower of the World Trade Complex NYC, on September 11th, 2001.)
